HM Manuelle (pseudonym for Ria De Temmerman) is a mother of three and lives in Assebroek, a sub-municipality of Bruges. She was born in Brakel, where the vast majority of her close family still lives.

She is the managing director of an IT company that develops software for the hotel industry. Alongside her busy life as a programmer, Ria was looking for a challenge separate from her professional activities.

Many evenings and weekends were sacrificed before part one of the Lion Saga saw the light of day. The reviews from the readership are already glowing and speak for themselves.

“Leeuw is a fictional saga set in a historical context, in which personal perceptions, experiences, life philosophies, as well as places close to my heart, play a role,” says the author.
